With more than 30 years of experience in the professional beauty industry, Mina Alamina brings a wealth of salon knowledge, technical expertise, and real-world experience to education. Throughout her career, Mina has worked behind the chair, managed salons for more than 20 years, and owned and operated her own salon for nearly 14 years. Her extensive experience has given her a deep understanding of not only the artistry of hair but also the day-to-day needs of working salon professionals.
Mina specializes in hair color, corrective color, foundational color techniques, and precision retouching, with a passion for helping stylists understand the why behind their work—not simply the steps. She believes education should be practical, approachable, and immediately applicable behind the chair. Known for going beyond what is expected, Mina focuses on helping stylists look at the complete client experience—from choosing the right color or service to enhancing an existing cut through reshaping, texturizing, and thoughtful product recommendations.
As a Tressa Professional Educator, Mina is passionate about sharing the knowledge she has gained throughout her career while continuing to learn and evolve alongside the industry. Her education philosophy is simple: give stylists the knowledge, techniques, and confidence they need to create beautiful results—and take those skills directly back to their clients.
